We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to build scalable microservices for the Linkfields platform using Java Spring Boot and AWS. The role involves hands-on backend development, integrations and mentoring, working closely with the Solution Architect and cross-functional engineering teams.

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to build scalable microservices for the Linkfields platform using Java Spring Boot and AWS.

The role involves hands-on backend development, integrations and mentoring, working closely with the Solution Architect and cross-functional engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

Build scalable Java Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs.
Develop cloud-native solutions using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, EventBridge, SQS, DynamoDB and Aurora PostgreSQL.
Implement secure authentication and authorization using Amazon Cognito.
Integrate with enterprise systems such as CRM, Order Management, Billing, Inventory and KYC platforms.
Implement event-driven and microservices-based solutions.
Own automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring and production support for owned services.
Lead code reviews, performance tuning and troubleshooting.
Mentor mid-level and junior backend engineers.

Must-Have Skills & Experience

8–10 years of backend engineering experience.
Strong experience with Java 17+, Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
Good understanding of REST APIs, microservices and OpenAPI/Swagger.
Strong experience with AWS services, particularly Lambda, API Gateway, Cognito, Step Functions, EventBridge and SQS.
Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL/Aurora and DynamoDB.
Understanding of event-driven architecture, serverless architecture and distributed systems.
Experience with JUnit, Mockito and integration testing.

Good to Have

Telecom domain experience.
Experience with Customer Onboarding, Order Management, Billing, Inventory or KYC platforms.
Exposure to Terraform/AWS CDK, GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps, SonarQube and OWASP practices.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
