We are looking for a Security and Performance Test Engineer to ensure the Linkfields platform meets security and scalability requirements through penetration testing, vulnerability assessment and load/performance testing.
About the Role
We are looking for a Security and Performance Test Engineer to ensure the Linkfields platform meets security and scalability requirements through penetration testing, vulnerability assessment and load/performance testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct security testing including OWASP Top 10 assessments, penetration testing and vulnerability scanning.
- Perform load, stress and soak testing using tools such as JMeter, Gatling or k6.
- Identify performance bottlenecks across APIs, microservices and AWS infrastructure.
- Work with the Solution Architect and DevOps team on remediation of findings.
- Establish and maintain security and performance testing strategy and benchmarks.
- Support compliance and security audit activities.
- Automate security scans (SAST/DAST) within CI/CD pipelines.
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- 6+ years of experience in security and/or performance testing.
- Hands-on experience with security testing tools (Burp Suite or similar) and OWASP methodology.
- Experience with performance/load testing tools (JMeter, Gatling or k6).
- Working understanding of AWS security services (IAM, Cognito, WAF).
- Scripting ability in Python or Java.
Good to Have
- Security certifications such as CEH, OSCP or CompTIA Security+.
- Telecom or enterprise compliance experience.
- Experience with SAST/DAST tools (SonarQube, Checkmarx or Veracode).
